We offer our 8 hour "12 Lead ECG Interpretation in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)" workshop, and a 16 hour workshop that combines our ACS curriculum with comprehensive instruction on Brugada Syndrome, Long Q-T Syndrome, Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, Chamber Hypertrophy, Acute Pericarditis, Acute Myocarditis, and Wide QRS Complex Tachycardias that include case studies from the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab of Monomorphic Ventricular Tachycardia, Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia / Torsades de Pointes, Antedromic Reciprocating Bypass Tract Tachycardia (W-P-W), Supraventricular Tachycardia with Bundle Branch Block aberrancy.

We are flexible and will work with each agency to meet their ECG training needs.  The following information describes a "typical" agreement between ECGtraining.org and a sponsoring agency:

1.      The sponsoring organization must provide a classroom that will be appropriate for conducting a workshop.  The classroom must have seating with table space for all workshop participants.

2.      The sponsoring organization must supply a projection screen or other media which will allow all participants to adequately see the PowerPoint presentation provided by ECGTraining.org.

3.      The sponsoring organization will be responsible for all advertising and promoting of the workshop.

4.      The sponsoring organization must provide ECGTraining.org with an accurate estimate of the number of participants who will be attending the workshop.  This is necessary so we can bring an adequate supply of Course Workbooks to the workshop.

5.      The sponsoring organization must supply any refreshments (coffee/tea/pastries/etc) that will be available to participants at the workshop.

6.      If the sponsoring organization would like ECGTraining.org to supply Certificates of Completion / CE Hours Certificates to workshop participants on the day of the workshop, we must have the names / type of license and license numbers for each participant at least 3 days prior to the workshop.  This will enable us to print out the certificates and bring them with us on the day of the workshop.

ECGTraining.org will supply:

1.      An instructor with expert credentials in the field of 12 Lead ECG Interpretation.  Unless otherwise specified, the Instructor will be Wayne Ruppert, Program Director for ECGTraining.org.

2.      Our instructor will bring the laptop computer and PowerPoint Projector required to conduct the workshop.

3.      Course Roster, which will be submitted to CE Broker upon course completion.  We will also supply a copy of the Course Roster to the sponsoring organization, for their records.

4.      Certificates of Completion for each workshop participant, which will include the CE Hour designation, which is:

a.       Florida Nurses (RNs, ARNPs, Critical Care LPNs) -  10.0 CE Hours for the full day workshop (CE Provider #50-12998)

b.      Washington, D.C. Nurses (RNs, ARNPs, Critical Care LPNs)

c.       Florida Paramedics – 10.0 CE Hours for the full day workshop  (CE Provider #20-314904)

5.      NOTE: For all participants who are NOT either Florida or Washington D.C.  licensed nurses,  or Florida certified paramedics, we cannot guarantee that your state or certifying agency will honor our Continuing Education (CE) Certificates: it is YOUR responsibility to submit the CE Certificate to your respective certifying / licensing agency to see if reciprocity will be awarded.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

OPTION A:   SPONSORING AGENCY PAYS ECGTraining.org:

With this option, the sponsoring agency will directly provide payment to ECGTraining.org for the Institutional Rate Package that has been selected.

Payment terms are:    One-half the total amount must be paid when the Workshop is scheduled.  The remaining balance will be due the morning of the conference.

If the sponsoring agency is charging each workshop participant, the sponsoring agency is responsible for collecting all tuition and course workbook fees, and making payment to ECGTraining.org as per the above payment schedule.  The sponsoring agency has the option of setting the price it will charge each participant.

*OPTION B:   ECGTraining.org  BILLS EACH PARTICIPANT:

  • 1. Prepayment of Full Amount at the time of Registration: Participants may pay by major credit card, debit card, PayPal or check. This is accomplished by accessing our website (http://www.ecgtraining.org/), then selecting "REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP" from the website menu, located along the left side of the screen, and following instructions.
  • 2. 50% due at Registration / 50% due at Workshop: With this option, one-half the total amount due is paid at the time of registration, with remaining balance due at the day of the workshop, before the workshop begins. To exercise this option, participants access our website (http://www.ecgtraining.org/), then selecting "REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP" from the website menu, located along the left side of the screen, and following instructions.

*OPTION B is only available when the sponsoring agency has chosen the "Per Student Fee" rate plan (Institutional Pricing Plans, Options 1 and 2).   If the sponsoring agency has elected to pay a FLAT FEE (SPEAKER'S HONORARIUM),  we will only accept complete payment from the sponsor.
